Summer shorts and t-shirt OOTD...

Denim shorts and a t-shirt is my go-to summer outfit choice, and as it's heating up over here it's what I've been reaching for more and more on a daily basis.

T-shirt - market
Belt - New Look
Shorts - Myer (Australia)
Chain - Colette (Australia)

I can see my t-shirt collection slowly expanding from here on out.

What's everyone's go-to outfit at the moment?

Man's t-shirt OOTD...

Being a fan of men's clothes over women's most of the time (how come they have much cooler t-shirt designs than us??!) I was only too willing to help the bf out when he only liked one t-shirt in the 2 for $30 offer in JayJays recently. Their 'oversized' range have a great cut and I got away with a size small to wear as a dress!

Sunglasses - H&M
T-shirt - JayJays (Australia)
Watch & Bracelet - ASOS
Boots - Dr Marten
Bag - Australian market

I CAN FIT IN MY DISCO PANTS!!!!....

There was a few sketchy weeks where I thought me and my disco pants were to be no more. I was a few pounds heavier when I got back from Australia and I've had to work pretty hard on the food front to shed them in order to squeeze my backside into them but I'm there....

Top - Tbar
Trousers - American Apparel disco pants
Boots - Dr Marten
Watch - ASOS
Earings - Primark

London and Paris haul...

Of course, being in London the first stop I had to make was & Other Stories. I'd heard so much about their Fig range I decided to pick up a hand cream and a re-purchase of my favourite mascara ever, The Balm What's Your Type body builder mascara. Then, just because, I picked up another of their blushers for my collection; Big Mama! Love this, will pop a full review up soon.

Next to Camden. First up, WHY DON'T I LIVE THERE!?! I picked up a couple of scarves from the market, and a cute Pug t-shirt that I'll be styling over Disco pants with my black Dr Martens and a big gold chain.

Then off to Paris... and of course it would be rude not to go into one of their amazing pharmacies. I picked up a replacement for my La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo and decided to try their Effaclar Matt product as a makeup base. I also wanted to give Nuxe Reve De Miel lip balm a go, and it wouldn't be a trip to a french pharmacy without a bottle of Bioderma!

Last stop was Sephora (again, rude not to) where I picked up their daily brush cleanser, a Sephora lipstick, the UD de-slick setting spray (due to the massive hype around the original setting spray) and the Make Up Forever smokey lash mascara that I've been dying to try since there was a huge blogger hype around this not too long ago.

No shopping shopping trip....

Shopping has gone from being my number one hobby to absolute torture for me because of saving for Oz. I popped into Leicester with Mum today and managed to behave particularly well. I just picked up one or two things in Primark for my trip (vests, leggings etc) and then treated myself in Zara. Everyone's been raving about Zara recently and I can SO see why, there's some right gems in there! I got this top for £15.99 mainly because it's FIT!

I'll probably wear it with my studded denim shorts, ripped tights, leather jacket and my beloved Office boots. Just need an occasion to wear it now!

Yes, this is a man's t-shirt.....

I love a t-shirt. Even more than this, I love a man's t-shirt. They have far better prints on them, are usually better quality, and more often than now...cheaper! Half my wardrobe is made up of t-shirts like this one...

Which I just chop the neck off...

Then the sleeves...

And voila....!
Chuck on some converse and a denim shirt, and I'm sorted...

Anyone else a fan of the mens section??

Sunday mini shop...

I tagged along with the parents into Leicester today to have a look around the shops...

I just wore some high waisted skinny jeans, my new t-shirt from Miss Selfridge and my Nike vintage blazers.

I only really needed a new foundation so I picked one of those up in Boots, and one of the Rimmel Vinyl Max lipglosses, which will is AMAZING and I'll be doing a post on early part of next week. I then went to Primark and got a few gems from the mens section - a hoody, tshirt and checked flannel shirt. Then I spotted a couple of pairs of tights that I couldn't resist....I'll be wearing these over next weekend so I'll post some outfit of the nights!

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend

Think I love a t-shirt...

T-shirts are by far my favourite thing to buy. It's what I base most of my outfits around...as you can tell by some of my outfit choices this week....

T-shirt: Primark mens section with the sleeves cut off

T-shirt: Forever21 in New York

This t-shirt obsession must stop!

So I did a bit of shopping....

Yes I know I'm on a shopping ban, but to be honest I was bored of being good....

Now I'm no fool, I know the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment isn't going to give me bum length locks any time soon, but I needed a new hair treatment and this seems to get pretty good reviews so why not! I also picked up Rimmel Stay Mat pressed powder. Controversially, I don't really like Mac MSF natural that much. I gave it a good 4 month trial and I don't think it does, well, anything to my skin. This was highly recommended and so far I'm impressed!

Casual through and through, I spotted this red shiny body warmer in Republic for £10 and had to have it. With my bright blue skinny jeans and a black hoody under it's been brilliant! I 'needed' (complete lie, I have far too many pairs already) some new denim shorts that were between low-rise and high waisted. Topshop did the job for a bargain of £28 for these.

Then I had a bit of a t-shirt (surprise surprise) spree online at Miss Selfridge. Grey vest, long navy and white striped body con dress/top and a Love Rocks short t-shirt.

I wore these shorts last night, so an OOTD is coming up soon!

Rolling Stones....

Went out to see an old friend I hadn’t really seen for over a year recently! I laughed so much I got stitch, and my waterproof mascara ended up half way down my face. Made me realise there’s some people you should never loose touch with.

Lips: Topshop Ohh La La
Rolling Stones T-shirt: Miss Selfridge
Checked shirt & Leggings: Primark
Denim/Leather Jacket: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo collection at H&M
Boots: Office
Handbag: River Island

Anybody got exciting plans for the week?

Current obsessions...

I'm so in love with lots of things right now....

Mythic Oil: My hair has grown so much over the last few months, and I think it's probably a combo of not using much heat on it, and using this most days...it makes my hair feel so healthy!

Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick in 03: I think I've worn this nearly ever day since I bought it, amazing colour and staying power, a really perfect nude without giving a 'foundation lip' effect.

The Body Shop Eye reviver duo: This is packed full of vitamin c to make your skin really bright and refreshed, I use this every morning (the under eye radiance cream and cooling all round eye roll on) before my makeup to keep my eyes sparkling and make my concealer stay on all day.

Vivo blush: I have NO idea what colour this is as it's worn off the back, but it's a gorgeous subtle shimmery pink that I've been using so much recently to perk up my tired winter skin, I want to get all the shades in these blushes they're so good for the money!

Office boots: I've been looking for some boots like this for AGES and finally found some in Office (of course) a few weeks ago, these have been moulded to my feet ever since!

Multi-coloured nails: I haven't had all my nails the same colour for months, this is much more fun!

T-shirts: This is only a small collection of my t-shirts, I cannot stop buying them! I'm really not a shirt or 'pretty' top sort of girl, if I could live in t-shirts and denim shorts all my life I would!

Estee Lauder Double Wear: This is a bit of a cheat as I've only worn this once, but the obsession part comes from looking at it's beautiful-ness (real word, honest) on my makeup shelf, I can't wait to start using it more!

One Day: I CANNOT put this down, I'm so near the end and am dying to know how it ends. I'm definitely going to have to watch the film as soon as I've read the rest of this!

What are your current obsessions?

Primark haul...

First time I've been to Primark in months! Picked up a few bits and pieces, mainly knit wear and cosy jumpers! (Btw, first pics taken on my tripod so bare with me!)

Basic chunky knit cardigan in turquoise £12

Another chunky knit, wanted something black for work and this is quite smart without having buttons down the front £12

Couple of vests. Standard. £2 each

Not sure I like this, didn't take a full pic because I think it needs a full on outfit pic to see it to full effect. Might go back though. £14

Purple chunky knit scarf. I'm off to buy this in every colour. £6

Fave jumper. Multi coloured knit, pockets. £10

Saved the best until last. I love Primark mens section too much. This was £10 and I want it in every. single. colour. Deffo gonna be wearing this with leggings and Nike Blazers

OK OK I'm going to admit, I RAN across Primark when I saw this in the mens section. I'm obsessed with mens Primark t-shirts (cut the arms off and make a vest) and Jessie J. Basically, amazing combo. Can't wait to get my Gok on and make it into something I'll wear. Obviously going with my leopard jeans and Allegra boots. FAB :)

Hangover haul...

Hey everyone, hope you're not too sad about the weekend weather so far....wet and miserable :( As I said in my last post, I went shopping yesterday with the girls to the Highcross in Leicester to try and make the hangover a little better. I'm not sure the actual shopping did much good to my hangover, but the all you can eat pizza hut buffet did wonders!! I was going to do a haul video but unfortunately I've been having problems with Youtube so it's going to have to be a picture post!

If you follow me on Twitter you'll probably have seen my extreme excitement about Mum coming back from shopping with a present for me...she bought me some pink swimming goggles for the holiday so I can swim properly (I used to LOVE swimming and it's a bit of a shame I don't get chance to do it any more, so holiday's the chance!) but I forgot to take a picture of them for this post, sorry!

Anyway on to the haul, first I went to Primark and didn't go too mad actually. I got some coral pumps for my holiday, and just to throw on with some denim shorts and a crop if this weather ever gets better! I got a headband as well because I'm getting a bit obsessed with these wired dolly bows. I've actually been good recently and not been using too much heat on my hair, just up in a topknot every morning with a headband thrown on! I also picked up a cute floaty shirt in a terracotta colour which I'll probably wear for work tucked in black high waisted peg leg trousers.

I popped into Superdrug and behaved myself for once, I only picked up a couple of bits, and advised the girls on a glossy nude lipstick (Gosh 134 Darling every time of course!). I got the Maybelline get eyeliner as I've been told this is the best gel liner to try. I've been after it for a while and it was on offer this time I went in so I thought, why not! I also picked up Barry M nail paint in Peach Melba because I've seen so many NOTD's with it, and it is the most perfect summery nail colour! I picked up an MUA blush in shade 1, to further add to my new blusher collection, and another Famous by Sue Moxley shimmer brick: I'm slowly building up the entire collection of these, they are stunning! This one is in pink, and I haven't had chance to even take the film off it yet but I'll do a review on it when I've used it a few times.

(the leopard print bronzer is from Primark for £1 in the sale, I couldn't resist!!)

I popped into H&M because I had to take a skirt back (a cotton coral maxi skirt that looked a bit like I'd wrapped a cafe table cloth around me!) and ended up picked a few other bits up. I got a blazer in a nice summery pink colour, because I had so much wear out of my black one! It was only £19.99 so I couldn't say no really. I also picked up an oversized white t-shirt to throw over grey skinny's with my coral wedges for a night out with the girls. My favourite purchase of the day was a bit of a random one, I was trying to not buy anything I didn't need but I loved this high waisted denim skirt with the buttons down the front too much to pass up! I'm going shopping next weekend so I'll probably wear this with my pink hightop converse and a tshirt tucked in :)

 (sorry everything is so creased!!)

Still on the denim theme, I've been on the look out for some light denim high waisted shorts but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I saw these in New Look though and thought they'd looked fit casually or dressed up with wedges and a floral shirt tucked in. They're quite thin, and a sort of jegging material, so they're not very forgiving, but I loved them anyway!

(another thing I loved about these was the label on them, I appreciate the effort New Look, it makes me smile every time...!)

Lastly we popped into Zara and I thoroughly enjoyed the sale. I actually think Zara is my favourite shop at the moment, the TRAF section is my fave, and I've been in love with all their coloured denim and t-shirts. I'm a HUGE fan of a Zara slogan t-shirt (I was wearing one in the OOTD post yesterday) so when I saw this one in the sale I had to have it, it's SO cute. I also had my eye on this purple maxi skirt when it was full price, so in the sale was a no brainer!

Hopefully another haul coming up after Birmingham next week!
