Happy Birthday To Me...

Just thought I'd post a few snaps from my birthday, I had a great day full of surprises, cake, wine and generally getting spoilt rotten...

I woke up to a laundry basket full of presents 

The boyfriend got me an incredible Japanese teapot set with a selection of tea's....a girl can never have enough tea!

Of course what's a birthday without an epic double chocolate mud cake complete with giant white chocolate button?

My bestie from Rainbow Beach came down to surprise me with (more) cake and wine!

This awesome package came through the post from one of my besties I met and travelled with last year. She's now at home back in England now so sent a care package of all the things I was missing from the UK :)

So in general, a good day was had by all :) and I feel like a very lucky girl!

Birthday & Collective Haul...

Hey lovelies...I finally got back on the ipad and recorded a new video (I know, it's been a while!) to show you some of the lovely things I had for my birthday and what I've been spending my pennies on over the past 6/8 weeks! To be honest most of them were gifts or sale purchases, although I have splurged a lot on knitwear and at the mac counter! 

Also as I mentioned on Twitter and in my video, my Mac £40 voucher is sat in my purse waiting to be spent so any ideas would be greatly received!

Happy birthday to me...

Wow I've been a terrible blogger recently, just been SO busy! Here's just a quick one to keep you going...


It was my birthday last week and I popped into Birmingham with my Mum and Dad to try and get my birthday present. I didn't really get much (don't know where my shopping mojo was that day!) but I will do a bit of a collective haul to show you what I did purchase over the weekend if I get chance!


I just threw on my trusty New Look denim shorts and Urban Outfitters cross top and of course my white converse...got to be comfy on your birthday!!

Me and the girls went out in Leicester on Saturday to celebrate me being old, and also as an excuse to show off my new 'plum' hair. I was a bit shocked at how dark it looked on my hair considering I'd seen a lot of other people dye their hair the exact same colour and looked so much lighter. I've not had chance to get a decent picture in natural light yet but I'll try and get one before it fades too much!

Oh yeah and I popped out last night to see one of my friends who'd come back from uni for a few days....unfortunately my fat bum split my original choice of skirt so I threw on an old Topshop body con skirt with my H&M leather jacket, and Primark bow tights/over the knee sock combo...
