Simple eye make up remover stings like a bitch and never really gets rid of all my waterproof mascara; I think I can do better. I also fancy a new liquid eyeliner that a novice like me can use without ballsing it up. The main thing though is brushes. I use my eyebrow brush everyday but it's starting to shed (it was only a pound and I have given it a bit of a battering over the months!) and I really want a decent contouring brush because...well...I don't have one!
If any of you have any suggestions for things I could try as replacements I'd love to know!
Are there any products you're looking to replace/upgrade in 2012?

I'm never completely satisfied with any liquid eyeliner I use! The Rimmel one is good for a cheapo one, especially if used with an eyelid primer. x
ReplyDeleteI love the bourjois felt pen liner, I use it everyday :) and Good Things makup removing wipes are lovely too xoxo
ReplyDeleteI really like the Boots Botanics eye makeup remover as its not too expensive and doesn't sting so you could try that :) xx
ReplyDeleteI love the Garnier Fresh Essentials Eye Make-up remover. It's so refreshing and works a treat. In fact I use it to sooth my eyes when I'm having an allergy attack. I love the stuff. x
ReplyDeleteHave you tried gel liner? I find them a lot easier and have a better finish.
ReplyDeleteAlso for brushes, ELF. I think they're decent for the price :) xx
Defo get the boots botanics eye makeup remover, I have repurchased it many times and its only about £3! Like Lisa said above, have you tried gel eyeliner, Im currently using a Topshop one and I love it!! :-) xx
ReplyDeleteEcoTools angled eyeliner brush is good and doesnt shed, its a few quid from boots! I use mac blacktrack fluidline with that brush or Collection 2000 felt tip liner for when im in a rush, theyre both really good :) and i use an avon angled blush brush for contouring. Hope this helps! x
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the recommendations!
ReplyDeleteI use gel liner now and I'm not very steady handed on anything except my water line! And as for brushes, I do love ELF but I really want to pay a bit more as I just think they'll last longer (or I could be totally wrong!!)
Thanks :D
