Holiday outfit of the day part one....

Hey lovelies I'm back! I had a fantastic holiday but unfortunately I'm suffering from the holiday blues being back in the real world :( As you all know I love an OOTD post, so I took some snaps of all my outfits on holiday for you: Warning this is going to be quite a picture heavy post!! These are just the daytime outfits and bikini's, I'll put the evening outfits in a separate post to make them a bit easier to manage!

This was just the first day by the pool, my bikini is from Primark last year, and I just threw an old Topshop baggy vest over the top with some Forever 21denim shorts I got in New York last year. These sunglasses are re-appearing throughout all the pictures and were £2 from Primark and I live in them!

I'm so in love with this playsuit, it was £10 from H&M and I'll probably wear it in the winter with some black tights, nike hightops and cropped denim jacket. Flip flops from Primark and I ended up wearing them so much they wore out and I left them there.

Another day relaxing by the pool, another Primark bikini that I actually hate, the top is such a bad fit. The dress was from H&M and I bought it to wear in the summer this year with a jacket over the top or a chunky cardigan but it ended up looking so see-through I saved it for a beach coverup. Sunglasses and flipflops from Primark again.

I wore this outfit when we popped into Pafos old town for the day, the shorts are years and years old from Republic, and the top is just a cheap one from Topshop I bought for the holiday. Change of flipflops here, but again they're from Primark. Got changed into another bikini for a bit of sunbathing when we got back, this is my favourite one from Primark (again) and has detachable straps which is useful.

Last full day sunbathing, I threw an old bright pink bikini from Matalan on, with a little leopard print coverup from Primark I've had for years. Fancied a change of sunglasses for this one, these were £16 from Miss Selfridge and I'd love some real Ray Bans like this one day.

We went on a jeep safari one day which I loved, we got to see so much of the island you'd never normally see, stopped of at some great viewpoints and beaches, and went through some really cute little towns. I wore some £2 pumps from Primark, and my Forever 21 shorts again, with a drop sided top from ASOS that says 'Nobody remembers the nice girl' with a bandeau from H&M underneath. The hat was purchased on holiday, Dad bought me and mum one each and it was such a good purchase because it was seriously hot!

The backdrops for these have been a bit different from my usual kitchen shots, and I thought I'd mix it up a bit with the Egyptian pyramids for this one! While we were in Cyprus we went on a daytrip to Egypt which was one of the best days of my life! I wore my hat again, and my blue Primark sandals, with what was supposed to be a beach cover up from New Look for £25, but I put over some little shorts and a vest top to wear as a dress.

We managed to squeeze a couple of hours sunbathing in on our last day before we got picked up at 4pm, so I got chance to wear my only unworn bikini, £12 from Matalan.

As you can see, I didn't really go very brown. I don't tan naturally at all so I kind of gave up after a couple of days and just read in the shade! Anyway it's good to be back, I've got a lot of catching up to do on everyone's blog, and I'll be posting my evening outfits tomorrow hopefully!

Lash-tastic....

I was super excited when I popped into Superdrug (yes yes I know....again!!) after work today and saw they had their new eyelashes in. I'm sure you've heard a lot about them and there's lots of pictures of the range floating around blog-world, so I had to buy a pair and see what they're like. Obviously I haven't tested them yet....but as soon as I have I'll let you know! I went for ones pretty similar to the Eylure ones I usually buy, pretty long and thick, but I'll definitely give others a go if these ones are successful.

As well as these beauties, I also did rather a lot of shopping in (very early) preparation for my holiday to Cyrus at the end of the summer....if you want to see my haul from various shops then check it out below (I apologise for the still rubbish quality, I may have solved this problem so from now on I should have lovely clear/watchable videos)....

Also a quick outfit post from my last but one shift at Office...

jump in the pool.....

Today I wore:

Grey drop crotch suit trousers (rolled up because the sun was shining!): Zara
Black t-shirt: Primark
Patent brogues: Office

And for some reason I decided to wear some stupid peach glittery eyeshadow which just made my face sparkle all day. Error! Also, I thought I'd add some colour with my scarf, which the lady in Tesco kindly told me she thought was 'pretty'. She then asked me where it was from, and when I said 'I got it at V festival last year' she went 'well I'm not likely to go there am I?!?' Sorry love, I'll lie next time.

OK OK so I went shopping after work. I'm bored of all my clothes all ready, and in fairness I did go in to get some of mums mothers day present. So what if I ended up with one or two (or more?) items for myself? I've been working hard after all!

Topshop: £18

I was going to get this in cream (for work) but was quite a fan of the navy. I stood there with both of them in my hand for ages and then I thought of the very wise words of my mate Kellie (she claims herself to be a VERY big navy fan) that 'navy is great, goes with everything' (or something along those lines) and went for this one. Will go with my pale grey Oasis peg leg trousers. Maybe even tomorrow if the sun stays out?

Dress: Topshop

BIG fan of maxi dresses atm, but it's far to cold to wear nice summary ones. Plus I love black. And anything plain. This is going to be worn with either biker boots and a big chunky knit cardigan, or some espadrilles and a checked shirt, and I'll probably wear the plum lipstick with it. It just fits. Not round the boyfriend though. He hates maxi dresses and coloured lipstick, so don't think this would be a winner! Although saying this, this dress gives me serious curves!

I went for another maxi which I'm not too sure about, think it could do with being a size smaller because it doesn't hang properly around the bottom (see below)

River Island did me proud today, I was a big big fan. Got a nice chunky cardigan that will look so nice over my new black Topshop maxi or just a tshirt and jeans, but I can't wait to wear it as a cover-up in the summer over ripped denim shorts and a crop, when it cools down in the evening.

Not the biggest floral fan in the world but I loved this. With black tights and tan brogues it will look lovely, probably for work but I also fancy taking this for a trip out at night. The pocket details are so cute, and the fabric will be nice for the summer when I can go bare leg (big apologies for the state of my fat pale legs in these pics btw! need a tan).

I'm a big supporter of over the knee socks. Black dress, shoe boots, and over the knee socks. Denim shorts, pumps, checked shirt and over the knee socks. I love them over patterned tights, opaques, lit
literally everything, but I'm not scared to admit that I'm a bit one dimensional. They're always black. So I thought I'd jazz it up a bit and get some different coloured ones. These were from Next and I love them too much, they're probably getting worn on Saturday night to a party I'm going to, with the River Island shoes I've got on in this picture (and maybe the new skirt?)

Oh and also, I love a blazer. This one is the same as my black one I've had on here before, the £15 H&M beauty, but I thought I'd go 'wild' (sorry bad one) and get the grey and black leopard print one!

Work work work....

Top: Topshop
Shorts: H&N (new purchase)
Tights: Primark
Brogues: River Island

Thought I'd make a bit of an effort tonight as I was meeting a girlfriend for dinner straight from work. These are my new shorts I bought last week, I actually want to wear them with everything! They're coming out on a night out with me soon with a pinky-peach coloured lace tank-top and black over the knee socks. Also, even though I HATE it, I'm trying to have my hair up more often to get it to grow more, my straighteners are slowly killing it! It also means I get a bit of extra time in bed in the morning.

Trousers: Topshop
Heels: New Look
Cardigan: H&M

Yet another work outfit. I'm actually going back to buy this cardigan in loads of other colours. They had a pink one with black swans, and a cute floral design in a green/purple colour.

OK on a totally different note. I'M FINALLY BOOKING A HOLIDAY! Going with the new fella and his mate n girlfriend, not sure where we're going, or when exactly. All I know is:

Hello excuse to buy new clothes! Sorry H&M / Crafted at Republic / River Island/ Topshop. I'm coming to get you!
