Everyday casual OOTD….

I'm really favouring simple outfits recently… ripped jeans and a plain t-shirt are my go-to outfit, with a pair of Ray Bans when the sun eventually decides to rear its head, and a bright lip to bring some colour to the whole look. The Marc Jacobs watch and Celine handbag are top of my wish list right now, although I admit not very realistic!

Sportsgirl kimono OOTD...

I may have mentioned this before (only about 100 times) but for Australian fashion, Sportsgirl are my go-to. I manage to find some really unique pieces in there, as well as some great basics and denim, and when I spotted this ridiculously gorgeous kimono in there a few weeks ago I was straight to the checkout. 

It's black, swishy, has fringing, and an outrageously cool eagle design on the back. Who was I to resist such an incredible piece?? I paired it with my Miss Shop denim shorts and my Converse, with a plain black cami underneath and kept accessories minimal.

I let my eagle do the talking.

Shopping OOTD...

I don't know about you, but when I think 'full day shopping' I think a) comfort and b) what's easier to whip on and off in the changing rooms. As it turns out I only tried on one dress the whole day, and came away with zero clothing items (and a bag load of cosmetic-y goodness).

Quite enjoying rocking a slightly off centre parting! I had a hair cut last week and after initially hating it, I let it curl naturally over night then just lightly ran the straighteners over it in the morning to create a wave and now I'm a bit in love with it!

You must excuse my eyebrows, I used a black eyeshadow from the Sleek Storm palette and wasn't used to how soft it was...smudge central!

I just wanted to show off my flicked liner to be honest, I've got so lazy using a felt liner pen that I thought getting back into gel liner would be tricky but it was surprisingly easy to pick up again! I used the Maybelline blackest black gel liner with a Sigma E05 liner brush and loved the results!

For lips I used a smudge of Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake, completely obsessed with this shade right now!

If anyone has any recommendations for mote gel or cream liners, or even some great felt tip or liquid liners I'd love to hear them, I'm really enjoying getting back into liner on the lash line recently.

All my favourites...

We're on final count down now, three sleeps till Australia! I went out with the girls for the last time on Sunday and decided to throw on all of my favourite elements in one outfit....over the knee socks, Litas, leather, denim, studs, black and my Saint Germain lipstick....

Then I just went out to get some last minute things for my travels...I needed a couple of memory cards for my Canon as I'll be taking loads of snaps! Again, I threw on ripped denim, black vest and my converse...all my favourites!

I'm off to finish my packing now and make sure it all fits in my bag!

Yes, this is a man's t-shirt.....

I love a t-shirt. Even more than this, I love a man's t-shirt. They have far better prints on them, are usually better quality, and more often than now...cheaper! Half my wardrobe is made up of t-shirts like this one...

Which I just chop the neck off...

Happy birthday to me...

Wow I've been a terrible blogger recently, just been SO busy! Here's just a quick one to keep you going...


It was my birthday last week and I popped into Birmingham with my Mum and Dad to try and get my birthday present. I didn't really get much (don't know where my shopping mojo was that day!) but I will do a bit of a collective haul to show you what I did purchase over the weekend if I get chance!


I just threw on my trusty New Look denim shorts and Urban Outfitters cross top and of course my white converse...got to be comfy on your birthday!!

Me and the girls went out in Leicester on Saturday to celebrate me being old, and also as an excuse to show off my new 'plum' hair. I was a bit shocked at how dark it looked on my hair considering I'd seen a lot of other people dye their hair the exact same colour and looked so much lighter. I've not had chance to get a decent picture in natural light yet but I'll try and get one before it fades too much!

My week in outfits....

I've decided I'm not buying unnecessary clothes until I've worn every unworn item in my wardrobe at least once, and everything I've worn once again. Not only is it a way to save money, but I'm hoping I'll find some different ways to wear some of my clothes that lie neglected in there. Also, I feel like putting a bit more effort into my outfits, even if I'm just going to work. Anyway here's my week in outfits....

This was just for work on Monday, I've only worn this skirt once when it was really hot for that random week earlier in the year, without tights and a jacket. I thought I'd try and get a bit more wear out of it and team it with black tights and wedges to make it a bit more suitable for the weather.
